Emmanuel Chopin
Chairman
A former student at the Ecole Navale, Emmanuel Chopin spent 17 years in the French Navy, in particular with the Commandos Marine, where he commanded the Penfentenyo commando.
He then pursued his career in the private sector, holding executive positions in operational management, sales and strategic transformation at Lafarge. Subsequently, as Managing Director of the Vitaprotech group, he steered the company’s growth and structuring.
Since its creation, Emmanuel Chopin has been Chairman of the NovaKamp Group, as well as Chairman of the Defense Liaison Committee of the French Business Confederation (MEDEF).

Augustin de Castet
General Manager
Augustin de Castet began his career as an officer in the Chasseurs Alpins.
After some ten years in Purchasing (DGA and AREVA), he managed the development of the GEOS group, before helping to found NovaKamp, then taking over its general management.
In 2023, he also became Chairman of Kamp Alliance, launching this new subsidiary dedicated to water treatment and the integration of combined energy and water technical solutions. He is an alumnus of Saint-Cyr and an auditor of the IHEDN National Assignment (76thclass).

Nicolas Aumont
General Manager – Administration and Finance
Since 2022, Managing Director of Finance and Administration at NovaKamp, Nicolas Aumont has acquired financial and industrial expertise in demanding environments.
After graduating from EDHEC business school, Nicolas Aumont spent nine years in auditing and then in transaction services with EY and PwC, before spending 14 years with Eramet, where he held various finance management positions, steadily increasing his responsibilities within the Group.
Nicolas then joined Smovengo as General Secretary, supporting the company’s turnaround strategy and public procurement challenges.
In 2023, Nicolas Aumont will also become General Manager of the Novae subsidiary, dedicated to power grids and transformation-distribution.

Laurent Guerin
Technical and Industrial Director
A former student at the Ecole de l’Air, Laurent Guerin has over 30 years’ experience in the French Air Force, where he has developed expertise in infrastructure, design and technical expertise.
Laurent Guérin has held a variety of positions, including Production Manager, Business Manager and Supervisor at the Bureau d’Appui au Déploiement (Deployment Support Office), and has managed projects to set up air bases abroad, particularly in Africa and the Middle East.
Since early 2021, Laurent Guérin has been Technical Director of NovaKamp. Since 2023, he has also been Director of the eV-Teknology subsidiary, where he oversees the design and maintenance of customized energy systems, as well as most of the Group’s subsidiaries’ experiments (even in non-energy fields).

Louis Gorintin
Research and Innovation Director
Louis Gorintin has a wealth of experience in innovation research. After graduating in engineering from Centrale Lyon, he obtained a doctorate in innovation management and strategy at the Ecole des Ponts and in nanotechnology at the Ecole Polytechnique, where he developed an innovative gas sensor using carbon nanotube transistors for Thalès.
Louis Gorintin went on to work for GDF SUEZ, as a research and innovation engineer, and then for ENGIE, where he spent over nine years as head of the ENGIE Lab Nanotech and Sensors laboratory.
Since 2023, Louis Gorintin has been NovaKamp’s Director of Research and Innovation, where he oversees innovation and experimentation in the design offices of the Group’s subsidiaries, while promoting innovative solutions within numerous clusters and French and European government initiatives.

David Baraton
Director of UAE activities at Kamp Alliance
David Baraton is a recognized expert in the world of water treatment.
He has unrivalled experience of the French and export markets.
David Baraton has worked on large-scale water treatment installations, as well as designing, manufacturing, installing and operating all the containerized water systems used by the French armed forces in OPEX and MISPOS zones.
David Baraton was “Senior Engineer” at Degrémont, then Regional Director and Deputy General Manager of Source, then Managing Director and co-creator of H2O, which will be the foundation of Kamp Alliance, a subsidiary of NovaKamp.
Since 2022, David Barton has been Director of Water Activities for the NovaKamp Group, overseeing the design and industrialization of water products within the Kamp Alliance.
He also coordinates the “extreme experts” in crisis zones, where Kamp Alliance ensures the start-up, maintenance and operation of the equipment deployed.

Hervé Gomart
Defense Advisor
Lieutenant General (2S) Hervé Gomart is an officer who has enjoyed a rich military career, notably with the Foreign Legion and taking part in numerous overseas operations.
After commanding the Foreign Legion (2nd REP, 3rd REI), he commanded the 3rd Light Armored Brigade from 2013 to 2015.
Subsequently, he was Chief of Staff of the United Nations Force in Mali and Head of the Joint Operations Command. After serving as Director of Performance and Synthesis at the French Army Staff, he was appointed Major General of the French Army.
He is currently Chairman of the Board of Directors of SOFRAME, a lecturer at the Ecole du Discernement, a member of the Conseil de l’ordre de la Légion d’Honneur and defense advisor to NovaKamp.

Denis Parmentier
Defense Advisor – French Army
Major General (2S) Denis Parmentier has had a rich and varied career in the French Army, holding key positions in command, strategy and human resources.
He has led a number of operational units, taken part in international missions in Kosovo and Bosnia, and contributed to strategic work within the General Staff.
From 2015 to 2018, GDI (2S) Denis Parmentier was head of the École du Génie in Angers, where he oversaw the training of numerous cadres and officers.
Today, in addition to his role as Defense Consultant for NovaKamp, he heads up APERIAM CONSEILS, a firm specializing in corporate strategy and development.
He has led a number of operational units, taken part in international missions in Kosovo and Bosnia, and contributed to strategic work within the General Staff.

Richard DECOMBE
Defense Advisor – International Institutions
General (2S) Richard Decombe, a cavalry officer, has held a number of positions in the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specializing in international affairs and defense cooperation.
He has worked for the French Defense and Security Cooperation Directorate (DCSD), the Africa Office of the French Armed Forces General Staff, and as Defense Attaché in Nairobi from 2013 to 2016.
Richard Decombe also headed the UN office of the French Armed Forces General Staff before becoming military advisor to France’s Permanent Representation to the United Nations in New York from 2019 to 2023.
Since December 2023, he has held the position of Defense Advisor at NovaKamp.
He has worked for the French Defense and Security Cooperation Directorate (DCSD), the Africa Office of the French Armed Forces General Staff, and as Defense Attaché in Nairobi from 2013 to 2016.

Louis VERGNIOLLE de CHANTAL
Director, NATO Affairs
Louis de Chantal is a former senior officer in the French Army and a recognized expert in NATO and defense environments, with a 35-year career in the French armed forces, NATO, the Thales Group and NIAG.
A parachute artillery officer, he was involved in a number of overseas operations (Central African Republic, Lebanon, Chad, and as a diplomat in the Balkans) before holding command and staff positions, notably at EMAT, where he contributed to the digital transformation of French military intelligence.
After serving on Canada’s Combined Joint Staff, he joined Thales in 2001 for 20 years, where he held a number of senior positions with close links to NATO institutions.
He then became Director of NATO Affairs for the Thales Group, leading strategic work on the Alliance’s transformation capabilities.
Head of the French industrial delegation to the NIAG (NATO Industrial Advisory Group) since 2017, representing over 130 French companies at NATO, he has simultaneously been director of the Nord Atlant Consulting company he founded since 2020.
Since 2023, Louis has been Director of NATO Affairs for the NovaKamp Group.
